Former collegiate athlete with experience at NJCAA NAIA, and NCAA. Experienced in coaching youth, high school, and collegiate athletes. Holds a Master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and has trained with professional atheletes.

Scott Harrison

Pitching Development Coach

Decades of pitching experience. Proven player development.

Former All-State player at Sharpstown High School and standout athlete at the University of Texas. Scott earned All-Conference honors in both the 1991 and 1992 seasons, recorded an impressive 21-4 collegiate record, competed in the College World Series, and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals before signing with the Montreal Expos.

With nearly 30 years of private coaching experience, Scott has trained youth, high school, and collegiate pitchers throughout Houston.

Fernando Rodriguez

Elite Pitching Coach

Major League experience. Professional-level pitching development.

A 17-year professional baseball veteran selected by the Anaheim Angels in the 2003 MLB Draft. Fernando competed at the highest level of the game, including Major League experience with the Houston Astros and Oakland Athletics. He brings nearly two decades of elite pitching knowledge, professional preparation, and competitive experience. At IBA, Fernando helps pitchers build efficient mechanics, discipline, confidence, and the professional mindset required to compete successfully on the mound.

Coach David McDaniel

David McDaniel

Player Development Coach

Professional experience. Strong fundamentals. Smarter players.

David McDaniel is a veteran baseball coach with more than two decades of experience at high levels of the game. A former professional catcher within the Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers organizations, David later moved into coaching, including professional baseball with the Sugar Land Skeeters.

He has coached successful high school programs, helped guide teams to state championships and supported players progressing from high school baseball into the college game and beyond. At IBA, David develops smarter, stronger and more complete players through sound fundamentals, game awareness, leadership and preparation.
